Camp site manners in the Australian Outback
WHERE TO GO HOW TO TRAVEL
HOW TO LIVE HOW TO SURVIVE HOW TO BEHAVE HOME

COMMENT
I found that the indigenous city people often were more horrible litters, than overseas tourists. Some Australian city people think that the outback is some big communal BBQ-place where a little left rubbish will do no harm. Or maybe they think that Mr. Sam One will come and clean the place for them.
Look at these pictures! There are few places that are so beautiful on the Earth.
Australia's nature is best left clean and unspoilt, not as a garbage dump for Eejit tourists from the cities and overseas.

AT THE CAMP SITE
Leave the camp site as you would like to find it, take out all rubbish.
Don't leave rubbish out of the car over night. Dingoes, lizards, rats, possums and other animals will get into the rubbish bags and spread it all over. Not a pretty sight.
Be careful with fire. Don't light a fire if there is a fire ban. Use old fireplaces instead of digging new ones. Extinguish the fire with sand and your left over dish water before leaving.
Don't camp next to watering holes for cattle or wildlife.
Don't feed the wildlife, especially not the bloody dingoes.
Don't wash yourself with soap or shampoo in rivers or lakes. The fish will be very upset if you do.
